Recorded on and off over the course of about a year, "All Skate!" grew from a one-and-done single, to a short concept EP, and finally to an actual real-life ALBUM. It is at once a tribute to day-glo 80s roller skating music, and a farewell to my old buddy the Tascam Portastudio 424 mkII, who got sick and died during the production of the album. Yes, that’s right: "All Skate!" killed my 4-track, not the 10+ years of abuse and neglect... :/.

I've always had a hard time describing my own music to other people, but… let’s try this. Think of “All Skate!" as the music from one of your mom’s aerobics tapes, if you left it out in the sun for a while. Or maybe like… Jane Fonda’s leotard, programmed into a computer. A side-ponytail converted to MIDI.
